Scanwiches

A website called Scanwiches is dedicated to scanning a 'sandwich of the day'. Both beautiful and brilliant. I loved scanned images, they have a spectacular 3D or spacial quality to them if done well. These are great for the appetite as well... you can almost smell the bread.

Happy Easter

Easter has always been my favorite Holiday - everything is pastel, the candy is fantastic, the icons are cute little bunnies and chickens. Whats not for a girl to like?

Shelving Inspiration

I am desperately in need of some storage space and there is nothing like custom built shelving. These are some that I find to be particularly inspirational.

J is for Jellyfish

Jellyfish are an underrated aspect of the animal kingdom. Because of their reputation for being dangerous, people lack the perspective on how beautiful these creatures are.

Of the Earth

I came across these mesmerizing paintings by Jenevieve Hubbard on MStetson's Blog and I find them to be pretty haunting.

Color Palette

I love white. I am drawn to this room that has a strong basis of white, white walls, white beds, etc. with punctuations of tropical colors. Its cheerful in an understated way.

Dress Poster

I LOVE this poster!

Luxury Cotton

Since gourmet Macaroni and cheese could quite simply be the most awesome idea on restaurant menus - I agree with the trendy movement of adding children's favorites to the list of comfort food options. Why should you have to go to the State Fair to enjoy such great food? Who wouldn't love cotton candy as an after dinner snack?

Spring Strings

It takes a moment for your eyes to adjust here but these are actual aerial photographs of the Tulip fields in Holland. Incredible!!

Vase Faucet?

This faucet by David Vercelli blows me away. I have never seen anything like it, it is so languid and beautiful - yet bizarre.
